Where You Can Fly
In accordance with the regulations of Israel’s Ministry of Transportation and the Civil Aviation Authority, free-flight hot air ballooning is permitted only in specific zones:
- The Jezreel Valley
- The Negev Desert
Due to heavy air traffic, both civilian and military, hot air balloon flights are not permitted in the central region of Israel.
What to Expect
- Early morning pickup (flights take place at sunrise for optimal conditions)
- Light refreshments upon arrival
- Safety briefing and balloon inflation
- A flight of approximately 40 minutes to 1.5 hours (weather-dependent), with total activity lasting around 3.5 hours
- Flight certificate and optional souvenir photos

- Flights are subject to change or cancellation due to weather conditions or security directives. For this reason, ballooning should always be considered a flexible, weather-permitting highlight of your trip.
- Minimum age is 5 years old
